STAGE 1: Sketch
Each illustration begins with a rough sketch. I begin exploring the expressions and the basic forms. 
STAGE 2:
Line Work 
Refining the previous stage, I solidify the shapes and forms needing pronounced. 
STAGE 3:
Flat Color
This stage I l focus on the local color each object, without any shadow or highlights. This enables me to control the color scheme with ease. 
Following this step, I add shadows and highlights.
Lastly, Ill make a paint-over layer to polish the final product.
